A Brief History of Al-Qalam Education & Community Centre(Faizan E Gharib Nawaz)

THE BACKGROUND…

Madressa Gharib Nawaz Association was founded in 1995, around 26 years ago, due to the growing Muslim community in Highfields and Evington area of Leicester. The institution was established under the supervision of Hadhrat Hafiz Qari Adam Sahib.

OUR SUCCESS…

Over the years, more than 110 Huffaz have graduated from the institution to serve the Muslims and wider community.

We have provided Islamic teachings to hundreds of young children, boys and girls, who have benefited in learning The Holy Qur’an and the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم .This has enabled them to understand their religion and how to live by it, as well as be productive members of the society.

Additionally, the institution has voluntarily hosted many youth and community events to date.

We have been proud to provide the Hifz and Nazra classes to this date and now In Shaa’ Allah, our plan is to expand our limits and offer our community further Islamic education including Aalim and Aalimah courses.

THE REFURBISHMENT PROGRAM...

The establishment under the supervision of Hadhrat Mufti Hafiz Mohmed Yusuf Sahab (Graduated from Darul Uloom Pretoria) has recently been through a total refurbishment and the whole building has now been updated to the highest standards
